Purposely designed to develop skills and knowledge in your chosen craft, this course is based in our modern construction unit and supported by the knowledge of our experienced tutor team. You will have time to develop a range of skills ready for the workplace. the extensive Kingston Maurward campus gives plenty of scope for real practical projects.
Course Content
The course uses a mixture of practical sessions, theory and online tests to cover a diverse range of topics including:
- Safe working practices
- Drainage work
- Laying and finishing of concrete surfaces
- Building methods and construction technology
One year course, 4 days a week plus self study time.

Full Time Further EducationYour learning is FREE if you are a UK or EU student, aged under 19 years on 31st August in the academic year you start your course.
Aged over 19?The cost of a full-time course for the academic year 2012/13 (starting September 2012) will be £1,250 per year.
