Apprenticeship in Beauty Therapy (Level 2)

Introduction

We offer a range of Beauty and Holistic Therapy courses that will prepare you for a career in your chosen field. Set within our purpose-built modern salons, all courses cover theoretical and practical aspects of training, and progression routes are available to further develop skills in specific aspects of the industry.

What Will I Learn

You will gain a thorough grounding in the key concepts and practical skills, equipping you with knowledge and understanding. You will also develop a range of techniques, personal qualities and attributes essential for gaining employment within the industry.

Assessed in work by assessor and tutor

Entry Requirements

You will already hold 2 GCSEs Grade C or higher (English and a Science) or Level 1 Beauty qualification from a recognized awarding body.

Additional Information

Students will need to purchase a Beauty and make-up kit, uniform and text books at a cost of approximately £300. During the course there will be the opportunity to attend workshops and exhibitions at an approximate cost of £100.

Progression

The direct progression from this programme would be a Level 3 in Beauty Therapy.

Career Opportunities

Positions which would be open to you will include Beautician or Beauty Consultant.
