Course Content

- Agriculture, including working with animals
- Tractor driving and machinery operation and maintenance
- Practical countryside skills
- Conservation and woodland management
- Grounds maintenance and estate skills
- Functional Skills in literacy, numeracy and IT
Days - Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays (TBC)
Entry Requirements
Interest and enthusiasm in working in the landbased industries. GCSEs minimum in Maths and English at a minimum of Grade E (or equivalent). Other experience will also be considered.
Progression/Employment
Work-based learning (Apprenticeships), employment, voluntary work or other Level 1 and Level 2 courses at KMC.

Full Time Further EducationYour learning is FREE if you are a UK or EU student, aged under 19 years on 31st August in the academic year you start your course.
