Description

This course will give you the instruction and knowledge to develop your skills and progress within the construction industry. Learn from the experienced tutor team across a wide range of activities.

Course Content

The Diploma offers a mixture of lectures and practical activities covering the following subjects:

  • Carpentry skills
  • Hand tool maintenance
  • Plumbing installation and maintenance
  • Brickwork skills
  • Bench joinery
  • Cabinet making skills
  • Introducing rainwater goods
  • Expanding pipework skills
  • Introducing levelling in construction
  • Developing block work skills.

Three days a week for one year plus self study time.

Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays (TBC).

Full Time Further EducationYour learning is FREE if you are a UK or EU student, aged under 19 years on 31st August in the academic year you start your course.

Aged over 19? The cost of a full-time course for the academic year 2012/13 (starting September 2012) will be £1,250 per year.
