Description
This is a progresive course for those who have achieved the college Intermediate K9 Psychology Certificate. It gives an opportunity to develop the theory into practical skills and helps pet owners to improve the behaviour of their dog in a one-to-one or class situation. Your own dog is not essential to attend.

This 2 day course includes a mix of theory and and practical skills including:
- What makes a good intructor - communication
- Class planning and organisation
- Techniques for teaching basic exercises
- Challenging dogs and owners
- Equipment and other training schemes - i.e. Kennel Club Awards

Training follows the code of practice as stated by the association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT)
Entry Requirements
Completion of the Inermediate K9 Psychology course. Dog attendance limited - please advise tutor.
Progression/Employment
Assisting in delivering dog training courses. Instructing basic training in a one-to-one situation.
