A course for tree surgeons who want to develop their skills in tree pruning techniques for small and medium mature trees. Includes health and safety, crown thinning, crown reduction and selecting tools and equipment.

Entry Requirements

CS 30 - Chainsaw Maintenance

CS 31 - Fell Small Trees

CS 38 - Climb Trees and Perform Arial Rescue

CS 39 - Operate Chainsaw from Rope and Harness

Students must be aged 16 or over on 1st September of the year in which the course starts. Tetanus protection is recommended.
