Course Content

Our British Horse Society Stage 2 stable management training programme is an excellent progression from the Stage 1 course. It will give you a thorough understanding of general management and requirements of horses´ health and well being. It is a very practical course which allows you to develop both the skills and knowledge to care for both grass kept and stabled horses during all seasons.

Stable Management:

• Horse behaviour
• Stable design
• Watering and feeding
• Shoeing
• Grooming
• Clipping
• Saddlery
• Anatomy and physiology
• Horse health
• Lungeing

There is an opportunity to take a mock and/or BHS Stage 2 exam. Entry to BHS exams should be directly to the British Horse Society via www.bhs.org.uk
