For absolute beginners. If you are thinking about buying a computer, or have got one but don’t feel confident with it, this enjoyable and popular course will get you started.

Qualification

OCR Functional Skills qualification in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) at Entry 1

Course Content

• In just six sessions you will be finding your way around the keyboard, using the mouse confidently and understanding basic computer terms
• You will be creating a variety of word processed documents, saving your work, and finding it again later!
• Be surfing the Internet, navigating through some very useful websites and saving them into your Favourites Folder
• Have the opportunity to send Emails, reply and forward emails, save your email contacts and delete emails from your Inbox.

This course gives you the opportunity to gain an OCR Entry Level 1 qualification.

No formal entry requirements.
No previous knowledge is assumed. No need to be able to type!
