Golf

We offer 2 levels of skills for Golf based at Victoria Road Primary School.


Golf for Beginners - Suitable for complete beginners.

Golf for Improvers - Suitable for beginners or golfers who want to improve their game.

Soft-soled shoes required. You can bring your own club if you have one, otherwise the tutor will have spares.
What Subjects will I study?

All aspects of the game, including a solid setup, sound fundamentals of the swing, putting and chipping, working on the basic rules and etiquette, golf do's and don'ts, card marking and handicaps.
The aim is to give the beginning golfer the information and basic techniques needed to be able to go onto the golf course.
For the Improvers/Intermediates who know the basics and either have a handicap or are close to obtaining one. The objective of the course is to examine and develop the core mechanics of your game.
Putting, chipping, bunkers and awkward lies are all covered in this course, but the main focus will be what you as an individual want to work on the most.
