It focuses on topics of current concern in the UK but will also draw on developments in a range of other countries to illustrate the points made. Topics covered include approaches to understanding education policy and its relevance and import to practitioners, and influences on the nature of education policy (e.g. political ideologies, social justice considerations, globalisation and concerns with accountability and efficiency).
