Who is this programme for?

Current teachers of adult literacy who would like to refresh and develop their knowledge, skills and understanding of adult literacy teaching while gaining the Additional Diploma in Teaching English (Literacy).

Entry requirements

A first degree or equivalent, a generic teaching qualification and appropriate experience of teaching adult literacy.

How are you assessed?

By coursework assignments of up to 5,000 words, including case studies, essays, seminar presentations and portfolio evidence of how you have applied the programme input in the classroom. There is also an assessment of teaching practice.

Attendance

Face-to-face evening sessions.
