The Postgraduate Certificate includes two modules (one core module and an optional module, see list below).
The MA includes four modules (one core module, three optional modules and a dissertation, see list below)
The Postgraduate Certificate and Masters degree will:
- deepen your knowledge and understanding of inspection and regulation models and frameworks
- enable you to evaluate critically emerging ideas in inspection, regulation and institutional improvement
- help you consider the importance of values, equality and human rights and international perspectives when furthering your understanding of inspection systems and practices
- develop your critical and analytical skills in relation to: (a) evaluation and judgement (b) organisational improvement (c) consultancy and advice (d) the use of data and evidence (e) the use of inspection and audit.
- give you access to and be actively engaged in the latest cutting edge research.

Who is this programme for?
Inspectors, professional and technical staff familiar with education (and related areas) inspection remits worldwide.
Entry requirements
A minimum of a second class honours degree plus at least two years' relevant work experience, and an advanced level of ability to work in English. Regular access to the Internet with suitable computer hardware and software is a necessity.
How are you assessed?
By written and on-line assignments linked to inspection practice, and a dissertation of 20,000 words or a report of 10,000 words.

Distance learning, with options for face to face participation.
