You will also need to be working full-time in a childcare setting for at least 4 days a week and be a key worker. You will also have responsibility for planning some of the curriculum.

You will need a letter from your employer to confirm this, and that they will support you while you are completing the course.

How will I be assessed?

Direct observation is carried out and other forms of evidence are also used.

You will complete the course, show competence and acquire a total of 65 credits.

Where does it lead?

Successful completion of this course will prepare you for promotion within the workplace.
