What does the course include?
The course will give you the opportunity to complete the AAT level 2 Certificate and AAT Level 3 Diploma in one academic year.
You will attend college on three or four days each week. You will complete the Level 2 Certificate by December, completion of Level 3 Diploma will be the following June. The course will provide you with a practical and theoretical understanding of accounting systems in the modern workplace.

What do I need to get on this course?
You are required to have one of the following:
- 6 GCSE grade A-C including English B Minimum Grade & Maths
- Equivalent Level 2 programme at grade Merit or Distinction
How will I be assessed?
The study programme is assessed by computer based assessments.
Where does it lead?
If successful, you will be able to progress to the AAT Diploma Level 4 or you may apply to join the first year of an Accounting degree programme at university. You may also progress to employment – the Association of Accounting Technicians is the professional body for qualified accounting technicians/support staff working in accounting and finance functions and an AAT qualification is well recognised by employers.
A 10% increase in Financial and accounting technician related
jobs are forecast in Greenwich between 2012 and 2017.
