Suitable For

Anyone wanted to improve their Spanish language for holidays, business or academic purposes. AS level course give students the necessary cultural and language knowledge to be confident in speaking and understanding everyday Spanish in any situation.

Assessment Method

There are 2 externally set examinations at the end of the course.

• Examination Unit 1 - Listening, Reading and Writing
• Examination Unit 2 – 15 minutes Speaking Test

Progression

Progression to A2 level Spanish
AS prepares students for further Advance level studies.

Additional Information

Students can choose their preferred topic for the Speaking examination. Lessons are informal with lots of practical exercises and emphasis on oral communication.

Entry Requirements

But previous knowledge of Spanish is necessary. You should have studied Spanish for at least two years or have a GCSE or equivalent level 2 qualification. Tutors can advice of course suitability.
