Assessment
Assessment is seen as an integral part of learning, and assessment criteria are linked to individual module learning outcomes. Assessment on the course will make use of a range of activities including reports, oral presentations, group work, practical assignments, project and portfolio work.

Entry requirements and applying The general requirement for the foundation degree is 140 UCAS tariff points at GCE A Level or equivalent. Appropriate AS-Level and Level 3 Key Skills qualifications will also be taken into account. In addition applicants must have five GCSE passes at grades A, B or C including Mathematics and English. However, the University adopts a flexible approach to admitting students with non-standard qualifications; in particular students with appropriate work experience.
