For practitioners without a graduate qualification, the BSc Health Studies provides the opportunity to study a range of clinically and professionally focused modules.

- Community Nurse Prescribing (V100) (10 credits)
- Staff Nurse Prescribing (V150) (20 credits)
- Independent Prescribing (V300) (40 credits)
- Mentoring and Assessing in Clinical Practice (20 credits)
- Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (30 credits)
- Health Promotion and Education (10 credits)
Students also may take ‘negotiated’ modules up to 60 credits which allow them to either agree a bespoke programme with the module leader or undertake a module designed for a group of students on a specific topic. Please contact to discuss available opportunities.

To access the BSc (Hons) Health Studies you must be a registered health professional, hold a Diploma of Higher Education in a health or health-related subject or equivalent credit. Additional requirements apply to prescribing modules.
