Entry CriteriaIf you are interested in applying for the course, you’ll be interviewed by one of our tutors. You will need to have achieved at least 2 GCSEs grade A* - D including English, or have obtained an entry level 3 qualification in a relevant course. Along with these qualifications, we will also need to see a good reference from your former teachers, tutors or your employer. Mature learners will be assessed at interview and will require evidence of a good work record. Attendance and participation in a course taster event is also required You need to be at least 16 years of age and demonstrate an interest in working in the health and social care sector.
Progression DetailsOn successful completion you may Progress to BTEC Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care
Success InformationWe have a 100% success rate on our level 1 programme. Many of our level 1 students progress onto a level 2 programme with us in the following academic year. A recent Ofsted inspection found that "learners like coming to college and value their learning and development, with many already considering themselves as part of the sector workforce."
