Project Finance and Investment Appraisal

Overview: The people involved in creating proposals to spend in these areas are usually experts in their field but often haven’t had any financial training to support their analysis of whether their proposal is a good idea financially. Given that projects and capital expenditures often consume a significant part of the finances of the organisation, it is imperative that those involved in them can make high quality objective decisions about which proposals are likely to have the best financial results and help them to prioritise where these expenditures are made.

This course covers the financial evaluation techniques that are a critical part of this decision making process and considers the costing elements of projects/capex expenditures as well as the financial impact of risks relating to them.
