Similar to our BA (Hons) Festival & Event Management course, this route allows you to specialise in Entrepreneurship.

Studying in Edinburgh, a city rich in culture and creative industries, you'll be ideally placed to learn about festival and event management. It is home to world famous events such as the International and Fringe festivals and Hogmanay, which attract tourists and travellers from all over the world. You'll have plenty of opportunities to gain industry experience and make contacts via an industry placement or part time work, plus you could take the opportunity to study abroad through our international exchange links. You'll learn how to plan, design, market, operate and develop events, as well as understanding how these can be used to help local economies and communities. You may choose to study a European language which will prepare you for working in an international environment. You'll develop practical event management skills, as well as a broad range of management skills that can be applied to other industries. Specialising in entrepreneurship will also give you the creative and business skills you require to be your own boss. What's involved The course is studied full-time over four years. You will learn by a variety of teaching methods including lectures, tutorials, and through independent study. There is a work placement in Year 3. Below you'll find an indication of the modules you will most likely study.
