What's involved The course is studied full-time over four years. You will learn by a variety of teaching methods including lectures, tutorials, and through independent study. There is a work placement in Year 3. Below you'll find an indication of the modules you will most likely study. These will be supplemented with choices from a course-specific option pool: Year 1 Introduction to Hospitality, Tourism & Events; Intercultural & Organisational Management;, The Business of Festivals & Events; The Global Tourism Industry; plus two option modules Year 2 Business and Management Challenges; Tourism Impacts; Conference Management; Facilities Planning for Hospitality, Tourism and Events; Visitor Attraction Management; Event Management Year 3 International Tourism Policy and Planning; Service Management; one option module; plus either Supervised Work Experience, or a Live Project Year 4 Leadership & Innovation for Tourism, Hospitality & Events; Planning and Public Policy for Festivals and Events; Dissertation; plus two option modules
