What's involved Based over one year, the course will involve lectures, tutorials, laboratory sessions and independent study. Trimester 1 Advanced Mechanics of Materials and FEA, Advanced Structural Concrete 1 - Analysis, Advanced Structural Steel Design 1, Forensic Engineering Trimester 2 Structural Dynamics and Earthquake Design, Advanced Structural Concrete 2 - Design, Advanced Structural Steel Design 2, Foundation Design to Eurocode 7. Completion of trimester 2 modules will qualify you for a Postgraduate Diploma. Trimester 3 Masters Dissertation Students of this course are eligible for the Best Timber-related dissertation prize.
