You'll also acquire the knowledge and skills you need to address ethical and professional issues, as well as a broader, deeper and critical appreciation of the needs of children, adults and older people with intellectual disabilities as citizens in contemporary society. As a graduate, you'll enjoy increased employment opportunities in your profession. You'll develop a combination of theoretical and practical skills in this course, including critical thinking when considering the issues associated with practice, knowledge and application of research methods and their application, and efficient approaches to time management, prioritisation and workload planning.
