This PV course and certificate are recognised by all the current Microgeneration Certification Schemes as meeting the requirement for appropriate training in the solar thermal technology.

Successful completion of the training and assessment provides training evidence for suitably qualified individuals to include with their application for registration on a Microgeneration Certification Scheme that allows self-certification, and notification to building control departments of work completed.

You need to hold a 17th Edition Wiring Regulations Certificate and NVQ3 in Electrical Installation (Buildings and Structures), or an equivalent earlier certification that provides evidence of competence.

The Level 3 Award in Understanding the Fundamental Principles of Environmental Technologies is also a prerequisite for this course.

This course leads to a Level 3 award within the Qualifications and Credit Framework. The training has been mapped to National Occupational Standards, which means you are receiving the most beneficial and industry-relevant training possible.
