Description
Are you interested in up-cycling and altering garments or soft furnishings so they appear new and different? Do you enjoy home crafts? This early evening, craft-based course might be for you.
Re-design and give new life to your own garment or soft furnishings through a practical project. Learn about the following techniques and processes:
• felting
• sewing
• pattern cutting
• embellishment
• other textile applications
You gain specialist skills in textiles and up-cycling.
This is a non-accredited course.
Some experience of textiles and sewing would be beneficial but is not essential; you can work at your own pace and level.

workshops. If you have a basic sewing kit/tool box please bring it
along. You are also welcome to bring and use your own sewing
machine.
After this course you can progress on to a 5 week specialist textile/fashion related course.
