In class you work on your own, in pairs and in groups using a variety of resources. In IT classes you use a PC. You work at the level and pace you feel comfortable with and your teachers support you all the way.

You work towards awards in English: reading, speaking and listening, and writing. You build a portfolio of your progress in class and get assessed by your tutors.

In your IT classes you take a functional skills exam, and you gain a qualification in English at your level. (Please note these are UK qualifications and are not internationally recognised)

You must complete an initial assessment and an interview to decide if the course is suitable for you. You must attend regularly and sit the exams.

You can move on to the next level Intensive English course that runs during the following term. We give you advice and information to help you plan your next step, whether you would like to study another course in the college or are looking for work.

You need to book an initial assessment by contacting Learner Services. For details of entry requirements and regulations connected with non-EU nationals, asylum-seekers and spouses, please contact Learner Services.
