NCGA Beauty Care and Make Up (Level 5)

Overview

An excellent introduction to beauty, the course provides qualifications you need to gain a junior role within the beauty industry as well as professional membership and insurance. The course also provides the entry requirements needed for NCGA Beauty Care, Level 6 and HNC Fashion Make-Up. You’ll study beauty treatments and related subjects to National Certificate level.

• 3 Standard Grades at Grade 4 or above.
• Before we offer you a place, we’ll invite you for an interview, where you will need to show good communication skills and an understanding of and enthusiasm for the beauty industry.
• We advise you to apply early as this course is popular and places are limited

More Information

The subjects you’ll study include: Artificial Nail Tips and Overlay, Facial Skin Care, Day Make-up and Basic Corrective Makeup, Bridal and Evening Make-up, Waxing Treatments, Manicure, Applying Practical Skills and Selling Skills.

• Career – Employment in a junior role within the beauty industry

• Continuing study – apply for NCGA Beauty Care (Level 6) – entry will depend on your results and positive feedback from your lecturers throughout the year. HNC Fashion Make-up
