This is an ideal course for you if you wish to refresh your basic skills or for those who just simply want to learn how to apply make-up professionally. During the two days you will cover related theory for make-up and gain practical skills.

On this two day course we will cover: basic skin care, identifying and describing colours and key looks, colour theory, a brief history of make-up, adapting and enhancing colour, and make-up application.

Class sizes are small so you will receive individual tuition. Learning activities include discussions demonstrations and practical sessions. You are expected to work on each other and have the opportunity to bring models in for the second day.

You will be able to recognise the importance of basic skin care, have the confidence in selecting and applying make-up, and be able to adapt and enhance make-up applications.

You should have an interest in professional make-up. Prior knowledge of the skin is useful but not essential.

On successful completion of the course you can progress to the Bridal Make-Up course. This covers more advanced techniques and further anatomy and physiology.
