About This Course:You’ll study the practical and theoretical aspects of Wall & Floor Tiling. This will assist you in preparing for employment within the Construction Industry. The course has been designed to deliver a recognised National Qualification in Construction. You will also have the opportunity to develop transferable skills which are important if you want to gain employment within the Construction Industry.
What You Need:- One Standard Grade at General Level, preferably English, Mathematics, Science or equivalent.
- Personal experience.
- You should be interested in Wall and Floor Tiling and be able to demonstrate this both in the application process and the pre-entry guidance…

What You Study:Some of the subjects you’ll study include: Wall & Floor Tiling – an Introduction, Fundamentals of Wall Tiling, Basic Cement Work and Fundamentals of Floor Tiling. You will also study Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Numeracy, Communication and Construction Occupational Practices.
After The Course:Career
On successful completion of the course you will be in a better position to find employment within the Construction Industry.
Continuing study
There may also be the opportunity to progress onto other National Qualification courses.
How Long:This course runs twice a year:
August - December and January - June.
