Level - WJEC AS Level in Applied Science

The GCE AS Level Applied Science is designed to explore the relevance of science in the world of work. This course provides highly vocational contexts built into a range of units which include Analytical Science, Energy and the Environment and Health Science. AS Units; Analytical Science, Energy and Environment, Health Science How will I be Taught? Lectures take place twice a week. They will involve some teacher led tasks but also independent research tasks and group practical activities. How will I be Assessed? Each of the three units are equally weighted. 2 units are assessed through submission of a coursework portfolio and the other unit is an external exam. What our students say?
