Intermediate Apprenticeship in Barbering

Barbering is ideal for hardworking and creative people. Some of the skills you will need include patience, excellent communication skills, teamwork and attention to detail. An interest in fashion and emerging trends is essential. The City and Guilds qualification is designed to provide you with the knowledge and practical experience required. A range of barbering techniques, customer service and communication skills. How will I be Taught? The delivery of this course will be in the workplace and at college where you will attend one day a week. At College you will cover a combination of structured theory delivery, group work, self-directed study, classroom discussions, research and lectures. In addition you will study towards the Level 2 Award in Workskills, Functional Skills English and Maths at Level 1 (exempt if Grade A-C GCSE). Pers are embedded An assessor is allocated to observe and assess your practical skills at work. How will I be Assessed? Practical skills will be assessed by your allocated assessor.
