Blacksmithing Level 1 Award

This is an introductory course designed to develop the foundation skills related to blacksmithing. This course has been designed to cater for those students interested in the artistic aspects of the Blacksmiths craft. Five Reasons to Study this Course at Chichester 1. This course looks at: Health and Safety, Mig welding. It also covers: Drawing down,Upsetting, Hot and cold scrolling, Forging leaves. The course consists of practical sessions focused at developing a range of core skills. There is some portfolio building required which we would expect you to complete outside of college. How will I be Assessed? Practical assessment and portfolio.
