Agriculture Level 1 Diploma

This course give you an insight into Agriculture. You will get to work with a range of livestock to help to develop such skills as team work, communication and much more. Health and Safety (online test) Carry out tractor operations Assist with the repair and maintenance of structures in the countryside Assist with the movement, handling and accommodation of animals Assist with the care of animals Assist with maintaining the health and wellbeing of animals Develop performance in land-based industries How will I be Taught? The course is about 80% practical and 20% theory. All lesson are held at the college farm taking advantage of all of the teaching facilities. How will I be Assessed? You will build up a portfolio of evidence over the year to help you to complete all of the practical assessments. You will also complete a small Health & Safety online test. What our students say?
