Summary:
This course has been developed by BTEC to provide a nationally recognised and vocationally specific qualification with which to enter employment or to progress to higher education such as a degree in business and/or management or an associated specialist field.
This BTEC Diploma is equivalent to 2 A levels. In addition, you will also be studying for a new qualification developed in association with the National Enterprise Academy, founded by Peter Jones from Dragon's Den. This qualification is the BTEC Subsidiary Diploma in Enterprise and Entrepreneurship and is equivalent to 1 A level. This will give you a total qualification equivalent of 3 A levels.

Minimum Age: 16 Maximum Age: 19 Course Length: 2 years Course Schedule: Minimum of 3 days in College Entry Requirements:5 GCSEs grade C and above including English (and Maths at minimum grade D). Achievement at Merit grade for progression from BTEC L2/First Diploma.
Assessment:Course work through a variety of assessment methods including assignments, presentation, reports, observations and discussion. You will achieve either a Pass, Merit or Distinction for each unit and the overall grade for the course will be assessed on the level of achievement in all units. If you perform exceptionally throughout the course you will be awarded a Distinction.

Ø Enterprise and Entrepreneurship units include The Innovative Entrepreneur, Business Planning and Pitching, Leadership and Teamwork, Working as an Intrapreneur, Business in International context, E-Marketing and Website design, Brand Development and Promotion
