BTEC Level 1 Certificate in Art & Design

Summary:

This course is designed for students who may have had an interrupted education in mainstream school and need to build confidence and hone their art skills in a supportive environment. You will need to have in interest in different art forms from drawing to painting using different mediums to sculpture. We spend a lot of time in the art room so this is a full-on course experimenting with many different methods and materials. You will also have the opportunity to improve your maths, english and IT skills and gain qualifications. You will also work towards a L1 Certificate in Personal and Social Development.
