Part TimeThis is a taster course providing a basic introduction to the
Welsh language and culture.
The language tuition will have a strong emphasis on speaking
Welsh, and you will be given plenty of opportunity to practice, so
that by the end of the course you will be able to;
Pronounce Welsh place names and Welsh words correctly
Greet people
Count up to 10
Give a little basic information about yourself, such as your
name and where you live
Make comments about the weather
Offer and accept a cup of tea or coffee
Welsh culture may include topics such as the origins of place names, history, traditions, etc.

You will be given the opportunity to be assessed as the course progresses for one Entry level credit (Agored Cymru). Assessment will be informal.
What qualifications you need
As this is a course designed for those who have no previous knowledge of Welsh, there are no entry requirements for this course.
