How you will gain the qualification
Level 4 is ideal if you are an experienced practitioner. You may
have management or training responsibilities within your
organisation. You want to confirm the skills you currently have as
well as fill in any gaps in your skills or knowledge.
You complete four core units at this level:
Manage personal case load
Evaluate and develop own contribution to the service
Operate within networks
Develop interactions with advice and guidance clients.
You also choose four optional units from a range that
includes:
Present cases for advice and guidance clients in formal
proceedings
Design information materials for use in the service
Promote Careers Education Guidance (CEG) within the
community
Manage the process of mediation.
What qualifications you need
There are no formal entry requirements however you must be
employed in a relevant job which will allow you to complete the
qualification with the full support of your employer.
Candidates should be over 18 years of age.
