LEVEL 3 DIPLOMA IN TRAVEL & TOURISM

This course is designed to provide an all round introduction to the travel and tourism industry for those who wish to further their careers in one of its many connected occupational areas. You will learn about a variety of subjects including: customer service, destination geography, marketing, business and also employment skills as well as gaining knowledge of specific jobs in the industry. You will also have the opportunity to gain an additional Cabin Crew qualification in Year 2 of the course. This Level 3 course may lead to a degree or other higher-education programmes or employment in the travel industry.

How you will gain the qualification

There will be continuous assessment throughout the course using written and practical assignments, which will include presentations, promotions, events and role-plays. Some assessment may also occur in real life working environments on work experience placements in external organisations.

What qualifications you need

At least 5 GCSEs at grades A* to C including Maths and English or successful completion of a relevant Level 2 qualification at Distinction level.
