GCSE English Language
The course consists of written and oral elements, designed to
enable students to communicate accurately, appropriately and
effectively in speech and writing.
Students will also have the opportunity to experience a variety of media and to develop the ability to make an informed personal response to a variety of stimuli and texts.
How you will gain the qualification
Assessment is by final written examination (two papers) and controlled assessment in examination conditions during the course of the year.
