EAL Level 2 Diploma in Electrical Installation
This product does not have fixed starting dates and/or places.
This course is designed for students wishing to pursue a career
in electrical installation. It is the only course recognised by the
electrical industry. The course is a unit based system with a
certificate issued for each unit.
There are five units to be completed these are:
• Electrical Installations Technology – Mainly theory
Based
• Principles of Electrical Science - Mainly theory Based
• Installation of Wiring Systems and enclosures – Practical
& Theory Training
• Health and Safety in Building Services Engineering - Practical
& Theory Training
• Understand how to communicate with others within Building Services Engineering - Practical & Theory Training

How you will gain the qualification
Practical and written assignments and multiple choice on-line computer based tests.
What qualifications you need
4 GCSE’s between A* to D, including maths and English or successful completion a relevant level 1 qualification.
Where to next
You can continue to the C&G 2365 Level 3 Diploma in (Building and Structures) or a level 3 Construction(Building Services) Extended Diploma, or work in the electro technical industry or gain an Apprenticeship.
