Advanced Apprenticeship in Health & Social Care

This is a 18 month programme and all elements must be completed in order to achieve an Apprenticeship in Health & Social Care.

This Apprenticeship is designed for people working within the health and social care sector and is most suitable for those working as:

• Supervisors / Team Leaders
• Senior Workers / Support Workers
• Managers / Deputy Managers

Listed below are some of the areas within Health & Social Care covered within this framework:

• Maintaining health, safety and security in the workplace

• Reflecting on and developing own practices

• Promoting choice, well being and protection of all individuals

• Contributing to care planning and reviews

• Contributing to the protection and management of abusive and aggressive behaviour

• Carrying out assessment to identify and prioritise needs

Framework:

• Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care

• Level 3 Certificate in Preparing to Work in Adult Social Care

Additional Mandatory Framework Requirements:

• Functional Skills in Maths & English

• PLTS

• Employment Rights & Responsibilities
