General information

GCSE Film Studies is an introduction to the study and analysis of popular cinema . The course looks at the storylines, genre and production techniques used in the mainstream film industry. Students will develop increased visual literacy, analytical skills and creative skills which will be split 50:50 between coursework and examined units.

Entry requirements

Normally 4 GCSEs grade D or above, additional requirements may apply and will be discussed at interview.
