- aspire to work in HR and want to study a recognised undergraduate level qualification
- work in a HR support role and want to progress their career by developing their knowledge and skills at a higher level.

Whilst building expertise in HR specialist subjects, you will also develop your planning, analytical and problem solving skills. CIPD Intermediate certificates and diplomas provide a professionally recognised qualification and the knowledge towards CIPD Associate professional membership.
Course content
This course includes:

- Business Issues and the Contexts of Human Resources
- Using Information in Human Resources
- Improving Organisational Performance
- Employment Law
- Organisation Development
- Meeting Organisational Development Needs
Teaching and assessment
Internally assessed coursework.
Candidates are required to maintain a Continuous Professional Development Record throughout the course.
Entry requirements
Students should normally be over the age of 21 and working in HR or a related function. Preferably you will have completed a Foundation Certificate in HR Practice or hold a Level 3 qualification in a related subject.
Potential students are strongly encouraged to read a quality newspaper and HR-related publications prior to commencing their studies.
Additional course costs
CIPD Fees - Admission Fee £40* and CPP Subscription £113* - paid directly to the CIPD. *Subject to amendment
