- Who have the responsibility for HR activities and decisions within an organisation but without a specialist function
On successful completion you can apply to become an associate member of the CIPD. The course includes a two-day workshop.
Course content
This course includes:
- Developing yourself as an effective HR practitioner
- Recording, analysing and using HR information
- Supporting good practice in managing employment relations
- Delivering learning and development activities
- Understanding organisations and the role of HR
- Supporting good practice in performance and reward management
Teaching and assessment
Internally assessed course.
- Self-assessment and development plan
- Written assignments and presentations
- A two-day sequential training event (TBC)
Candidates are also required to maintain a continuous professional development record throughout the course.
Entry requirements
No formal education qualifications are specified. Students should normally be over the age of 21 and working in HR or a related function. All prospective students will be interviewed and are asked to provide a hand-written personal statement with brief details of their careers to date.
Additional course costs
£175 for the sequential event - paid directly to the college with the course fee.
CIPD Fees - Admission Fee £40* and CPP Subscription £113* - paid directly to the CIPD.
