Hair Extensions (Balmain)

Who is the course for?

The course is aimed at those who have achieved or are working towards a Level 2 in Hairdressing.

What will I study?

The course will cover the following:

• A summary of pre-bonded hair extensions
• Consultations – how many bonds to apply, whether the client is suitable, how long they will last, how they are maintained
• Hair-different types, buying guide
• Tools required
• Demonstration and participation of application
• Health & safety
• Cutting and styling
• Aftercare – what the client will require, how often must they return (for maintenance and re-bonding)
• Removal – tools to use, demonstration of removal

The following will be covered over the 2-days of the course:

Day 1 – Information input and demonstration
Day 2 – Demonstration of removal and application

How will the course be delivered?

Through classroom based activities alongside a tutor and other delegates at a similar level.

Course Entry Criteria

The course is aimed at those who have achieved or are working towards a Level 2 in Hairdressing. Certificate required.

The college operates a no refunds policy as detailed below. Cancellations and transfer requests are subject to the following conditions:

• More than 4 weeks notice – no charge
• 4 weeks notice – 30% of the cost
• 2-3 weeks notice – 50% of the cost
• 1-2 weeks notice – 75% of the cost
• Less than 1 weeks notice – 100% of the cost

All cancellations must be made in writing and are subject to a £10 administration charge. The full fee’s policy is available on request.

What will I get at the end of the course?

You will receive a Blackburn College Certificate of Attendance upon successful completion of the training.
