What is the CSCS Test?

The CSCS Health and Safety multiple choice test will prepare you in the importance of staying safe whilst working on construction sites. You will be assessed on health and safety and hazards related to your particular trade. It is taken to help improve health and safety awareness, helping to reduce the likelihood of accidents, injuries and deaths occurring on construction sites.

The following topics will be studied;

  • Legal and management
  • Health and welfare
  • General safety
  • High risk activities
  • Environment

How will the course be delivered?
You will receive a revision booklet to browse at your leisure and a secured place on the Health and Safety test which will be taken at Blackburn College exam centre. To see an example click on the following link; http://www.cskills.org/uploads/GT100-sample_tcm17-31668.pdf

We also offer an e-learning course so you can revise in the comfort of your own home and when ready come into Blackburn College to sit your health and safety test. This is priced at £45.00. Details can be found here

Course entry criteria

The college operates a no refunds policy as detailed below. Cancellations and transfer requests are subject to the following conditions:

• More than 4 weeks notice – no charge
• 4 weeks notice – 30% of the cost
• 2-3 weeks notice – 50% of the cost
• 1-2 weeks notice – 75% of the cost
• Less than 1 weeks notice – 100% of the cost

All cancellations must be made in writing and are subject to a £10 administration charge. The full fee’s policy is available on request.

What will I get at the end of the course?
