Three written papers each worth 25% and taking 45 minutes each. These exams will be taken in January, March and May. There will also be a centre assessed unit covering Investigative and Practical skills which is worth 25 %

Progression

Students can progress onto BTEC Level 3 qualifications, such as National Certificate in Forensic Science. Students obtaining a grade B and above along with an average GCSE point score of 5.6 can progress on to AS Level Biology.
