Entry Requirements

A minimum of 3 GCSE grades at C grade or above are required for all 16/19 year old students. All other students will sit an entry test that is similar to the BPEC plumbing test.

Delivery & Assessment methods

All assessments are practically based but you will be required to build up a portfolio of your assessments that will be verified by the awarding body. There are also 12 theory test papers to be taken to achieve the award. Course Length: One year, 36 weeks September – June 2.5 Days a Week x 7.5 hours

Progression

NVQ Level 2 is the minimum requirement to work as a trained Installation & Maintenance engineer. Level 3 will take you onto the skills and knowledge required for supervisory jobs. The courses lead to enhanced career prospects within the industry.
