Course DescriptionA practical course in the operation and maintenance of ATVs, leading to the NPTC Certificate of Competence. The course promotes awareness of hazards in ATV operation, machine capabilities/limitations, and develops operator skills.
Course includes:
- Health and Safety at Work Act, pre-start / daily maintenance checks
- Machine controls
- Safe handling techniques
- Brakes and braking and maneuvering with and without loads.
