Course DescriptionPesticide Application - Foundation Module
PA1
This module is the first step towards achieving the NPTC
Certificates of Competence in Safe Use of Pesticides and includes
legislation, label interpretation, personal safety and personal
protective equipment, environmental considerations, storage of
pesticides and transport of pesticides. Assessment is by on-line
computer-based test, and takes place at the end of Day 1
training.
This module must be completed before progression to other levels of certification.

Pesticide Application - Foundation Module
PA1
This module is the first step towards achieving the NPTC

Pesticide Application - Field Crop Sprayer Module
PA2
This course is for those intending to apply pesticides using a
tractor-mounted or self-propelled machine. Applicants must be able
to drive a tractor.
Course content for PA2:
- Legislation
- Health and safety
- Personal protective clothing
- Daily maintenance and cleaning
- Layout of machine and liquid flow
- Calibration of machine and operating techniques
*This course runs once every month

Times 0900-1700 Cost £425 Course Duration: 3 days Entry RequirementsApplicants must be sixteen years of age or older and have completed training and achievement of Foundation Module PA1 before progressing to PA2/PA4 or PA6.
